I gave my daughter up for adoption

baby“Twenty years ago, I gave birth to my daughter. I immediately put her up for adoption. I know, that I did wrong, but living conditions did not allow me to raise her. I lived in a small town, I was very young and completely dependent on strict parents. I had to hide my accidental pregnancy from them for fear, that I will be kicked out of tomu. I spent the last months with my friend. But I did, for the child to live. I know, that anyone in my position would have done the same, but I regret my decision and feel guilty. I was trying to find my adult daughter. Unsuccessfully. Wants, let it be a warning to other women.”

Not every woman, being in your place, she would have done the same. Your decision was very wise. Contrary to appearances, it required a lot of courage and maturity. You did so much for your daughter, how much was possible. You gave her life and the opportunity to grow up in a complete family, among people, who wanted her very much and were waiting for her. The fate of children is much more dramatic, whose parents, for whatever reason, cannot or do not want to raise them, yet they do not agree to be placed in foster or adoptive families. It often takes several years then, to bring about a legal situation, which would allow you to submit a child from an orphanage for adoption. These years are hard to catch up for a child. They weigh on its development and adult life. The lady spared such dramatic experiences for her daughter. I advise you to look at your decision from years ago in this way.
