forgive – the road to happiness

signatureLive happily, it is to forgive all the wrongs and resentments. First to your parents. Long-established injuries, regrets, the desire for revenge destroys the psyche – so say psychotherapists. Moreover, they are the cause of disease and life failure. The only cure is forgiveness. “Everyone has experienced some kind of harm in their lives and it cannot be changed. Someone, who offended us, probably doesn't remember it anymore. First of all, you have to forgive the people, to which we hold the deepest grudges. Very often they are… parents. Resentment towards them from childhood becomes one of the most destructive patterns fixed in the subconscious mind. Many people don't even admit it, yet forgiveness is the condition for finding a happy life path. Try to start by examining your parents' childhood. Ask or imagine how many fears, they experienced suffering or disappointment in the early years of life. Then realize, that guided by their own knowledge and experiences, they gave you so much, how much they could. Here is another important exercise. Sit down comfortable, relax. imagine, that in front of you there is e.g.. mother, whether or not he is alive, or not anymore. There is no one but you. Then imagine, that something joyful is happening to her, which is of great importance to her. See clearly the joy and smile on her face. Let the picture last for a few minutes. Then think about it, that something joyful also happens to you. Repeat this exercise for your father. Another suggestion: write a letter to your parents, in which you forgive them for their wrongdoing towards you and ask them to do the same. From-find a rationale for their conduct. Write your letters daily for a month, but don't send them. You will definitely feel much better.
