PROTECTIVE VACCINATIONS

PROTECTIVE VACCINATIONS

Vaccination is an active form of infectious disease prevention. Vaccines stimulate the body's production of antibodies, that is, the immune bodies against the disease in question.

Most often, immunization involves the use of a vaccination course, Usually applies 3 basic vaccinations and so-called, vaccination (booster vaccination) in increments of up to 5 years. A complete vaccination course prevents the disease from developing. In the event of illness, it determines its mild course.

In Poland, there is a preventive vaccination program based on the ordinance of the Minister of Health and Social Welfare containing the vaccination schedule. Vaccinations are carried out by clinics for healthy children (clinics D) or vaccination points.
