MAN'S SEXUAL RESPONSIBILITY

SEXUAL RESPONSIBILITY – A man's duty is conscious and responsible fatherhood, and making a joint decision with your partner about getting pregnant. The withdrawal of the penis during intercourse before ejaculation is an unreliable method of contraception. A more effective mechanical method is the use of condoms, which physically prevent sperm from entering the vagina. Condoms are even more effective, if the woman is also taking a spermicide. Sure, but the usually irreversible form of male contraception is sterilization. Some men who already have children choose it. (In Poland, this method of contraception is not allowed). A surgical procedure is then performed to damage and ligate the vas deferens, which prevents sperm from entering the urethra and ejaculating. Ligation of the vas deferens does not affect a man's ability to get an erection and experience orgasm. It is theoretically possible to restore the continuity of the vas deferens, but in practice this is only successful in approx 30% cases.

Condoms also prevent sexually transmitted diseases, which may result from heterosexual or homosexual contact. STIs are by definition very contagious and men who have sexual contact with multiple partners should be aware of the possibility of contagion. At the first symptoms that may indicate a venereal disease, contact your doctor for detailed tests. If there is certainty or suspicion of a sexually transmitted disease, a man should avoid any sexual contact until a proper diagnosis is made and, if necessary, treatment is completed..
